Nine measures to prevent workers from heatstroke and protect their health in the hot weather of Sanfu!
During the dog days of summer, there are too many production and processing factories with high temperatures, stuffiness, and odors in their workshops. If there are many heat sources and high heat generation during the production process, the problem of stuffiness in the workshops becomes even more serious. The outside temperature is already very hot at over 30 degrees Celsius, and workshops with heating equipment have even higher temperatures, many reaching over 40 degrees Celsius. So how to protect the health of workers and provide a comfortable working environment? Today, I will share some measures to cool down and prevent heatstroke for your reference:
1. Provide sufficient drinking water to ensure that workers have access to sufficient cool water at all times to replenish their body fluids and prevent dehydration;
2. Provide cooling equipment such as cooling towels, cooling necklaces, and cooling vests for employees to use and help lower body temperature.
3. Improve ventilation conditions: increase the ventilation equipment in the workshop, such as fans or exhaust fans, to promote air flow and dissipate heat;
4. Use sunshades, curtains, or blinds to reduce direct sunlight entering the workshop and lower indoor temperatures.
5. Regularly rest and adjust work intensity, arrange reasonable work and rest time, avoid prolonged exposure to high temperature environments, and reduce the physical burden on workers.
6. Set up cooling areas or rest rooms, providing dedicated areas with air conditioning or ventilation equipment for employees to rest and cool down during work breaks.
7. Prepare heatstroke prevention and cooling materials, such as Rendan, Huoxiang Zhengqi Water, Shidishui and other medicines, as well as cooling drinks, such as mung bean water, sour plum soup, ginger salt tea, watermelon, etc., and supplement salt water drinks in a timely manner;
8. Train employees on heatstroke prevention knowledge, provide appropriate training, educate employees on the impact of high temperatures on health, and how to prevent diseases such as heatstroke and heat exhaustion;
9. Adjust working hours and, if possible, arrange for workers to perform heavy physical labor in cooler mornings or evenings to avoid working during high temperature periods.
Finally, we recommend a cooling vest that can quickly cool down by 15 ℃. It uses a specially designed ice pack that can be recycled as the cooling source, and through ice water circulation technology, the coolness is evenly transmitted to the vest's entire body. The second level temperature control can be freely controlled to a comfortable body temperature, with a single cooling time of up to 4 hours and a weight of only 2.2kg. It can effectively solve the cooling problem of workers in high temperature weather.
